This weekend I did the first winter rout of the session in wales. The conditions were good there was quite a lot of frozen turf and a good soled sheet of compacted snow up high. Perfect conditions to solo!!! It was about 1 hour walk in threw bogs till we were high enough to reach the snow then we geared up with axes and crampons and set of up the climb. All in all a good weekend looking forward to getting out in the snow agene!!!
