The night before I left St Davids College I get a phone call from Ian Martin saying “lets go for a climb befor you go” the last hit on the welsh rock for a while. The only condition was that we have to be back by 8:30 am for meetings so I tuck up the challenge, meeting Ian at 6am and raced to the Carg in the escort van then jumped out and scrambled for our bags to then find us jogging up the hill to the crag. At the crag, by bout 6:30 to get more time climbing lead 3 grade 6 “quite a tough wakeup call really” but to topit all of we had a sprint race to the car and then a tough decision whether to go for school breakfast or a athlets “worst but yes so delicious” McDonalds breakfast, we went of the mc’is. after stuffing our faces with mc'is and racing back up the school drive it dawned on me, I was leaving that day and I hadent packed anything up yet. I scrambled to my room falling down the stars, throwing things in bags and piling things up “lots of stuff accumulates over 6 years” As it hit 3 o'clock, I was out of there and that was it, driving down the drive a tear came to my eye I would like to thank evry one from St Davids, who made my time there so brilliantly thanks!! Oh and Ian Martin many more adventures to come! I will be back for the next welsh winter.
